Bordeira is approximately 1.15 hrs drive by car from Faro airport and 3.5 hrs from Lisboa.
From Faro airport we recommend hiring a car, all the main hire firms have offices at Faro airport.
If you require a Taxi there is no shortage at the airport and will cost approximately 75 Euros. If you prefer to take the train you can leave from Faro to Lagos for about 4 Euros. From lagos you can connect with a bus or taxi to Bordeira.
Driving instructions are as follows:
When leaving Faro airport, at the roundabout, take the exit signposted: A22
Take the slip road signposted: A22 Lisbon, Loule and Portimao
Follow the A22 for 50 mins all the way to the end and you will come to a round about with signposts for Aljazur.
Take the N120 towards Aljazur and follow that for 10-15 mins, you will come to a clear turnoff and see signposts to Bordeira, road N268.
Follow the N268 for 10 mins until you see the sign to Bordiera.
Follow the entry road into the village past the church and take a right at the end of the street.
Continue until you see the café on your right then ake the immediate left into Rue da Escola and No. 5 is on your right hand side.
